Sarah Treharne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2014. Upon graduation Treharne kept up her practice, working in the studio and at residencies. She attended Chautauqua Institution in both 2015 and 2017. In the fall of 2016 Treharne was the recipient of the Emily Mason Fellowship for the Vermont Studio Center. In 2018 she received a partial grant to attend the residency Can Serrat in El Bruc, Barcelona, Spain. She has showed in various group shows including Field Projects’ “Soft Animal,” as well as Trestle Gallery’s “Small Works.” Treharne is currently continuing her education, working towards receiving her MFA at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
